I understand there is a cemetery (Pilot Grove #2) outside Jamesport, MO. Does anyone know where I can find a listing of the residents? I've heard that my ggGf George NICKEL and his wife, Margaret, are buried there along with some of his descendants. Thanks

Need any info on WOODY family. Samuel WOODY married Martha CUMMINGS/spelled COMIRS perhaps on record on 23 Apr 1865 in Daviess Co. Family listed on 1880 Daviess Census.
Children:
William F. 6 May 1866, Nancy A. 23 Nov 1867, Mary 12 Feb 1869, Sarah A. 24 Aug 1870, Ida V. 3 Mar 1872, Rosa E. 4 Dec 1873 - 16 Mar 1899 Married Mr. BROWN, Emma 23 Mar 1876, Elisabeth 15 Nov 1878 - 13 Nov 1879, John 20 Jan 1879, Samuel A. 26 Oct 1880, George W. 8 Mar 1882 - Feb 1963, Len 2 Oct 1884, Robert 31 Aug 1885, Freeman 19 Nov 1889
This family later moved to the Oklahoma Territory.

I am a descendant of the marriage of John David ROWLAND and Elmira FINE both born in Davies County. I am seeking information regarding Elmira's parents William Fine and Mary SHEETS who lived in Daviess County in the 1840's. Elmira was born May 26, 1844. Supposidely her father was a minister and her mother's brother was an early victim of Jesse James.

I am looking for information on the BENNETT and GOIN familys. They came to Mo. And settled in the Breckinridge area about 1840. Most are buried in Trosper and Lick Fork Cemeteries Also i am looking for the burial place of Sarah W. (SHORT) BENNETT born 1792 in Va. and her husband Samuel BENNETT born 1791 or 1789 in Va. Sarah BENNETT is listed in 1850 cences with children James, Joseph, and Washington BENNETT.

Looking for more information on my Greatgrandfather George Washington RIDENOUR, b 1853, Mercer Co.Mo. His father was Henry RIDENOUR b 12-27- 1821 was in 1860 census in Washington Township, Mercer Co. Mo. and 1870. In 1880 census was in Union Township, Daviess Co. Mo. Later went to Chester, Crawford Co. Arkansas. m. Melinda Chapman. 1880 ceensus shows ch. Jane, Wilbourn, Nancy, Francis, Manuel. Seeking information on the following Virginia immigrants to Missouri between 1840 and 1860 Listed in 1840 Virginia census from Kanawha co. twp. Listed in 1860 Census living in Daviess Co., Mo. with wife Mary and the following children: Mary age 24, John age 22, Jeremiah Jr. 18, Henry 15, Nancy 12, Milly 8, James 7,. They do not show up in the same location after that. Next record is Oklahoma in 1900 census for Jeremiah Jr. and the married names of two sisters and a brother who went to Oregon sometime before 1870. Sanford and Fannie Ficklin Stephens settled around Lock Springs in the 1870s. They were from Montgomery County, KY. Sanford Estridge Stephens was the son of Jesse and Narcissa Daniel Stephens. I would like to contact others researching this line. I have written several books on the DANIEL family.
