Rumor has it Dr. Ballinger was left a baby on his doorstep. Any info on Dewe owning ground in or around Davies Co ? Only Dr. I found wasn't Ballinger. HAMMOND, RICHARDSON posted by Ernest Wright on Wednesday, October 6, 1999

I am trying to find out any information on a TURNER RICHARDSON and a HARRIETT PAYNE who lived first in Virginia and eventually moved to Jackson Township, Daviess County, Missouri, They owned land about 1 mile East of Clear Creek Church/ Cemetery which they farmed and lived there until their Death, they are Buried in Clear Creek Cemetery as well as several other family mambers. I have been to this area and several other places around it on several occasions searching Records and Cemeteries, their daughter a WILMOTH RICHARDSON is the person I am mainly searching for as she is my Great- Great Grandmother and to no avail cannot place where she is buried or obtain a Death Certificate, all I now of her is she married (marriage certificate) a ALFRED W. HAMMOND in September of 1880 in Jamesport, Daviess County, Missouri and they had one child a LOUVISA CLEMENTINE HAMMOND in 1881 unable to find a Birth certificate, it is said down through the family that she Died during or shortly after Childbirth, they also lived in Jackson Township, Locksprings, Daviess County, Missouri, the 1880 Census shows her still in TURNERs household and 1900 Census does not show her we cannot find a 1890 Census, I have some information on TURNER and his Descendants as there is a book History of Daviess County missouri 1984 published by Historical Society which has WILMOTH stated in it but no further information. I believe that they were very active in the Clear Creek Church and surronding area and that WILMOTH may of been Baptized in the Church as well. Anyone knowing or having information in this matter your Help would be Greatly Appreciated.

BROWN, NINEMIRES posted by Beverly Johnson on Sunday, October 10, 1999

Elizabeth Brown was listed in 1850 Daviess Co Census with Philip Brown, William Brown, James Brown and Elijah Ninemires living in her household. I assume she was the mother of Philip, William and James. Was she also the mother of John A. Brown, who also lived in Daviess Co in 1850? Was Elijah Ninemires her grandson? If so, who were his parents? Could they have been Daniel Ninemires who married Catherine Brown?
