I am looking for information on any of the following former Daviess Co. citizens: John Ellis STONE (born 23 March 1845 in Gallatin); Virginia Bell JONES STONE (married John Ellis Stone 21 Feb 1866 in Gallatin); Willard Perley STONE (born 7(?) June 1867 Gallatin); Virginia Bell STONE (born 4 June 1894 Gallatin). Virginia Bell STONE was my grandmother on my mother's side and I would welcome any information on this family and will gladly share what information I have been able to find.

MAY, Benjamin lived in Davies Co, MO bef 1859, was bn in 1815, Ky; mar: Matilda Ruggles. Their known children were: Serena J., Mary M., William, Thomas, Amanda and Asbury Walter. Asbury was bn 8/26/1959 in Daviess Co. I need Benjamin's date of death and also an estate record for Benjamin.

Dick Turner Langford born January 20, 1829 in Greenville, Harrison County Indiana died October 1916 in Jamesport Daviess County MO. Wife Elizabeth Davis born May 23, 1830 in Keosauqua Van Buren County Iowa died 1886 in Jamesport. Eight of their 10 chldren were born in Jamesport. One of these children was Alexander Langford born March 10, 1860 in Jamesport, died May 19, 1897. Searching for Alexander Langford-Melvina Booth Loman connection. Lyle GOODBAR was born in 1834 in Colliers Creek, VA. Somewhere between 1850 and 1860 he moved to Missouri. For several years he and his wife Sarah MORRIS daughter of James and Lyda (ASHER) MORRIS, lived in Daviess county where Lyle's half brother Joseph GOODBAR settled in 1843. James A POLLOCK Married Lucretia McLENDON in Saline Co. Mo in 1889, then migrated to Daviess County where they lived for a while. They had one child,William Henry Pollock. James evidently did farm work. Some time between 1891-1893 there was a major flood. James and about 10 or 11 others drowned while trying to fortify a levy near Breckenridge. This is all I know about my great grandfather. Any specifics about the flood or anyone else in it or the Pollock line would be deeply appreciated.Thanks!

John Miles LEE was B. 15 Dec 1859 in your county according to the 1860 census...father was Joseph LEE and Mother was Eliza....notes indicate John was raised by a Mrs. Calkins in your county....there is also some confusion about a Josiah Lee...was he a twin brother of Josiah Lee? If you could proviade any and all information concerning these ancesters if would be of great assistance to me. Thanks for any help you can provide.
