This woman is believed to be Mrs. Margaret Mary Whiskerson. She, with her husband and
several children, came to Buchanan Co., Missouri in 1843. Some of the family went on to
Oregon or California and changed the name to Wiscarson. Margaret was the mother of Mary
Margaret Whiskerson who married John Lewis and raised a large family in Daviess County, Missouri.
